Mail Received - Ruud Janssen

I was just having a little internal mail art crisis of faith - thinking about what crazy stuff I got myself into here, sending absolutely ridiculous things through the post. Do you ever get that? And then I found this letter from Ruud in my mailbox, with sheets to send in with samples of rubber stamps for his archive. I have not sent anything to Ruud yet, waiting for the right kind of idea - he is the president after all and so forth! - and now there is this totally unexpected envelope with lots of cool stamps. What made me really happy is that it features the stamp "mail art changed my life". I love that stamp. Anyway, I took that as a mail art omen and my mail art crisis was over then. Thank you, Ruud!

the recent one that arrived in Greece was full of happy stamps, too...(no Dutch weed stuff no no)

Glad to know the envelope arrived and is placed in the category Happy. I didn't smoke homegrown, quit smoking decades ago. Thanks for all the kind words though.....
