Mail art by IUOMA member Thom Courcelle (Rutland, Vermont, USA)

October 6, 2015 - I am thrilled to have received mail from old friend Thom Courcelle – one of the first wave Trashpoets – and find he has relocated from Seattle, Washington to Rutland, Vermont. Thom Courcelle will long be remembered in Trashpo history, but his talents are diverse and his interests are wide. He does much more than Trashpo. For instance, I find the piece he sent me above fascinating and engaging: This is a work in the style of Ray Johnson. Here is another piece included in the missive:

And the reverse:

As evidenced throughout this posting, Thom Courcelle’s work with stamps just keeps getting better.

He has also been drawing. I hope he is able to connect with Rebecca Guyver (Suffolk, UK). Thom could likely make important contributions to the DKult Doodle Therapy project.

All this came in a FAB envelope:

Many thanks and great to hear from Thom Courcelle!

That's great, Dean. Thom has a lot of m-a friends. I lost track of him too for a while.

Wonderful to see Thom back in the Mail Art swing again.  A peal of thunder must have done the trick.

Thank you for the blogging.  New address noted.
