Another fantastic piece from Jimmy. I'm not sure if it's clear from the pictures but the envelope is slit along the side where the card inside pokes out with the rest of the postage on it. amazingly it arrived intact and oddly none of the stamps were cancelled.

A really fun piece from Amy. The card is inside a cellophane that has been stitched along the edges.

Some amazing work from Eduardo. Always a pleasure to find his work in my mailbox.

i have no plans to reuse stamps katerina. but i do recall the days when mail would get returned if the stamps had been reused or had glue on them(so the recipient could wash off the cancellation marks to be reused).

Perhaps not usually an electronic robot or laser method, maybe a scanning light:

the postal machines know all :-)

"Can you reuse stamps that have not been marked from post office? No.

As for whether the post office can tell that you misused a stamp, the answer is that they can sometimes. The cancellation mark is often a fluorescent dye that may be visible to the sorting machine even if you can't see it..."

and in the USA it is a Federal Crime to reuse stamps of the  USPS...be careful!

sometimes my fellow mail artists at briefzentrum 10 just don't want to sign their work, they're not lazy!

i'm having a hard time finding info about laser cancelling of stamps. the other mail from Jimmy has always had a cancellation mark so i'm wondering if these were just not cancelled or were done using the laser method you mentioned.

amy mentioned the bird stamp is dying so she'll have to toss it. and yes, eduardo always does such fabulous work.
