What have I done?  I feel that I turned Heleen into an Extremist Mail Artist.  Where have all those wonderful illustrations gone?  Have they been wiped out by Barcodes?  However it is amazing that this piece arrived as is from Holland to Paris. (Yes, without an envelope.)  Three barcodes on the same piece of paper is rare.  But let's look closer at this work of art.

I am a little concerned about the straightness of the lines. If it had a bit of irregularity, without compromising the linear perspective, it would work better. Everything has a beautiful nature textural quality except the edges around the numbers. If you broke it up (slightly) the viewer's eye would be better able to travel across the barcodes into the darkness waiting on the other side. Compositionally, it is always tough to have a uniform shape across the foreground. It creates a visual wall.  But Heleen has a trained eye and I expect that these elements have been completed deliberately.
