Guido Vermeulen: The inner Mirror Part II et hommage à Mme Fourez et the return of Spring

I think I discovered a long time ago that Guido's titles rarely have anything to do with his drawings.  I always thought that this was a great idea and use a similar system sometimes myself.

One way is to open up a book and use the title of a chapter.  Lately I used "The black spot" from Treasure Island.  Yes one of those books I chopped up.  It was a nice hard cover illustrated one as well.

Sometime I wish I could draw like Guido.

Thank you Guido, very nice thought.

Oh dear.

But also, oh good, we can all relax.

OH dear, Good behaviour doesn't seem to be in my dictionary.

If you're on good behavior while here, Dean, that won't be necessary.

You are very kind Nancy.  You can report me once I have left America.

Who would not want to draw like Guido. And his titles strike me as cosmically human and insightful, and personal at the same time. Dean, your ripping off of "the black spot" opens up new worlds. I have a black spot story, too, as probably many do. But don't worry, I will not report you to the authorities.
