When I first saw these by Claire, I thought she'd actually made boxes to send out, like her thought boxes...unless I'm mistaken there too??! I think everything Claire touches is just magical, including this series.
The copper heart stamped on opaque red paper is very glamorous, as is the envelope.
Did you bake these cupcakes yourself, Claire? They are very good, could even be used in school biology or sex ed classes. Though I don't see you as the baking kind...
I received #5/7. I hope you sent these to some blokes too, you can never have too much education, right gals?
All topped off with a succulent red wax seal on red ribbon! Thanks Claire!

Sound like a lot of work, but if you do, I would love a few - I bet they would be really cool, thanks!!
Thanks for the info Claire, I might try bending some up myself and banging them up with a little rounded hammer. If I can find my copper and they work out, I'll send you some.
ha ha ha! I order my paper here, http://www.paperandmore.com/
It's a great, reasonably priced and very helpful place, but I imagine shipping to Australia would be hefty indeed...
Re the clips, I can't recall now, but just type "copper Circular Paper Clips" into a search engine (as I did iirc...?) I've been making books/paper stuff since my teens, so many, many years of collecting for this pack-rat...
And thanks to you once again!
Claire, is, ah, comfortable with ambiguity.
Translucent, that's the word, sorry, it's not opaque at all! So, it's vellum? I'll have to look for some, it's just lovely, I'd make a lampshade from it!!
Oh, I wanted to ask about the copper clip too, how do you find these gorgeous things?
Thanks Claire, glad you approve of the blog!!
I made just one original/actual box for a certain someone, these cards were made from the scans. The "Thought Bottles" are actual boxes (one of which you shall receive eventually...) And: thank you very much for your sweet, sweet comment ma chere! ^_^ Ha ha ha - indeed they would make a great teaching aid! No, not a baker (though I do love sweets... Wish they had been real, they look yummy indeed! Doubly via the power of suggestion imo! %_^) That paper is actually slightly translucent, a maroon vellum I adore writing metallic copper penned lettres on. (I was hoping it would protect the print from being marked by the wax seal, but I see it made an impression regardless) Aaaanyway, glad you liked it Vizma - great blog indeed (=^_^=)!
