So much unexpected. Let's call it a magenta mailart day. First thing I opened was another inspired Frior from Guido, this time Spookses in de Wolken (Fairy Tales in the Clouds) because Guido sees me as someone 'who treasures tongues in an amazing ocean'.  I hope I can live up to that high praise but I know I will treasure Guido's gift! His envelope is 'My Dream of life is here to stay or not,' is radiant with colour, movement and intrigue. Another surprise was a new Black Mountain College Dossier... James Thompson (who I met this summer on Cranberry Island at the Island Mailart exhibition and who lent me his copy of the BMD on Ray Johnson) sent me his dossier on Joseph Fiore.  I haven't had a chance to read it yet but am very excited! Interesting that I got a Fiore and Friour on the same day...

The final surprise was a joyful packed envelope from Thom Courcelle (first correspondence)! I'd always wondered about Gotij but never explored and now I have some Gotij GOAT CHEESE stickers etc etc... as well as a thoughtful letter.  I love to write and look forward to a pause in life to sit down and respond, visually and with words!

Thank you all!
