I think Ning has a limit to how many photos are allowed in one blog post so I will post the rest of this fabulous package in the comments section. The packaging is just as entertaining as what's inside. Erni told me he was sending his heart. Screw flowers and candy--what was inside this was decadent. He put "Domestic Municipal Garbage" on the customs form god knows what they thought of that. Too funny. And that's exactly what is inside. There are what looks like hazelnuts, squished cans, corrugated cardboard, bottlecaps, jar lids "This is Art" a glued down UHU container, a picture of someone I'm assuming is famous and I should know, but don't, There is a business card from the off scene akademie made of trashpo from Buxtchude-collected on Sept. 10th. I think this was created in the trashpo journalling class at the OSA. As I knew would happen, my daughter radared in on the heart box. It was quite a feat because it was somewhat hidden near my art stuff. Within minutes the gears were turning and she had the bottlecaps out. She took some of her round stickers and place them inside and outside attaching them to make them look like clams. So that was her addition--altered bottlecaps. thank you Ernie for this wonderful and whimsical package. The whole chauvinist-pick a goddess shaped woman and be happy is hysterical! you'r the best!

Can't you see I'm trying to create crisis and panic? I'm shouting "Fire" in a crowded theater. BUT Erni, mailing raw garbage? Where will this end? Frankly, I haven't figured out what AG has to do with chestnuts. Don't mind me.

With Sandpo we had to establish Ministries and the SandPo-lice for this very reason. The Trash People must learn to regulate themselves. Trash-CAn-archy could be a challenge to the eternal network!

ahhhh I should have recognized those as chestnuts! DVS will know who is in the top, I'm sure of that. Trashpo could never go too far----to the left---it's out there with the lunatic fringe.

So Erni's heart is full of tastefully selected garbage. Not sure what to make of that except hidden treasure?

I for one would love to see a "has trashpo finally gone too far" blog by you, DVS.

Great blog Diane, great stash Erni! That looks like Allen Ginsberg lying there in the heart. The note to male chauvinists is hilarious! Choose one and try to be happy. Yeah! The customs forms are also hilarious. I watched my grouchy postman out the window as he read them looking very perplexed. It's pretty much fun to see him looking perplexed--usually he has only one expression. Congratulations, Diane.

Here are the rest of the photos. This thing was packaged so tight I needed dynomite to open it. But it was worth the effort. I have already used Erni's classic "Domestic Municipal Garbage" customs form in one of my trasshbooks
