reminds me of a piece on NPR recently about a guy who wrote a book of hokum  on how to attain all sorts of mystical powers.....he had been an editor for these kinds of books and decided he could write one too---wish I remembered the name of it----it was actually quite successful, readers writing in with all their amazing experiences doing the practices suggested'

Thanks for the explanation. As for Richard's question, I had no idea what the piece was nor any familiarity w/the artist. I liked it & still like it - does look like some sort of pseudo-science occult thing from the first half of the 20th century.

Hi Richard:  I found it in on old paperback novel about psychic powers and parapsychology.

My guess is that it IS a test pattern of some sort.

28.09.15 Dare Eddie Parome. Thomas Brown & or De Villo Sloan, ...sorta looks like an old T.V. Test Pattern symbol but that's not what it is.  ...what is that thing???  Huh, Richard Canard
