Yes, even on the foot paths in Portland you can find wonder things.  Jennifer has put it all together in this lovely card, and she only had to walk 500 miles to find it all.  Thank you very much Jennifer, and I hope you didn't wear a hole in your socks.  Socks?  Jennifer, did you say that you wanted Mail Art socks, well you are in luck ...

Thank you Angie, I hope you enjoyed the Mystery Mail Artist.  Austin, we all have different names for this activity.  Paris is just a treasure chest of finding things, the difficult part is making them funny.  My name for it is Mail Art Omens, as it is they that put things in my way.  I don't go out hunting for them.  There is a difference!

You are on my list for my next find, and thanks again for your help, and being the first one in the Mystery Mail Artist

You do have a compulsion, Austin--it's just that we all have it. You are not alone ...

Erni, I have to say, I'm not surprised. :--}   My first association was some old primitive antique farm tool that probably lived in my shop for a while.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who picks up random bits while out walking around town. Thought maybe I had some sort of compulsion.

Is he? I'll have to watch his posts more carefully and take adjectival notes. Nice photo below, Erni.

"Meaningful": oh good, a new adjective to use. I've been searching the brain and need to look elsewhere :--}

Both are very meaningful.
