Flower arranging channel - from David Stafford

This is the first envelope I got from David, and it got me instantly curious. I am very fond of his stories, he is such a good storyteller as well as a talented artist. This one transported me into the world of a nursing home and I could just picture the scene so clearly. Residents at the nursing home being really tired and bored and probably upset but... you don't mess with nurse Dalisay, the flower arranging channel it shall be. Beautifully writen, and that TV, I don't even want to switch channel either :-))
Thank you David!

David has great mail-art humor. I agree this is really well-written too. Nice one!

Thank you, Marie and everyone for your sweet comments...my eyes are watering again...The tikis are from the collection of my good friend Michael Morrow who died in 2007. Michael was a true renaissance man, artist, musician and best of all, a superb human being. This card was originally made for his wife, Nina but when my printer added the striations I put it aside until I thought...hmmm, that looks like an old tv...and then all the other stuff tumbled out when I made the card for Marie. One of my great fears: being trapped in front of a tv without access to the remote.
