I know I showed Mail heArt from Katerina in an earlier post, however this arrived before the Valentine.

In response to her triangle upside down airmail mail, Katerina sent me this. Really great stamp.

Sneak preview of the contents through the window.

The colorful insides

And I noticed on the inside that Katerina had reversed and re-used an envelope that was sent from the US, using metered mail - Interesting as well as tree-friendly.

Hi, Erni - serious non-smoker, here! I do remember seeing Marlboro ads at the movies featuring the Marlboro man every time. Never made me want to smoke, though. Love the smoke ice picture.

Hi, Heleen. Thanks - Katerina sends such bright, interesting mail, how could I not share it.

Hi, Katerina. I am sad that they aren't making the Greek-style airmail envelopes. I always thought it was so clever to omit the red stripes, and reflect the Greek flag colors on those. Your new alternatives are a lot of fun. I don't think there was a sender's ID on the one you sent me - I'll have to check. So far 3 pieces in my Greek mail art collection - this one, a heArt, and a banana!

There has been an end to the nice, light, "Greek" envelopes:

so I sometimes recycle ol' security envelopes...the US one from social Security perhaps?

"Το κάπισμα μπορεί να σκοτώσει"...in any language we all know

what that means :-( (smoking can kill )

Was this your FIRST mail art from Greece, Phillip? Well, many more to come .

Thanks for the blog xxx

Marlboro Man?

He's alive and singing, as you can see (if you click on his name).

Nice work, Katerina! Thank you for sharing, FinnBadger!
