Received this great piece from Kerri. The paper feels like canvas. It looks like she created these shapes by blowing the yellow paint as opposed to dripping it. Fantastic and unexpected color scheme. I was also amazed that she sent me this card from Esoteria. This was a very cool bar that I used to go, but she had no way of knowing this. I sent a friend to it and it had closed down by then. Hedonism was never so much fun back in the day:) thank you Kerri!!

Cool card and art, and conversation. I grew up dead in the suburbs, but that's mostly because of an overprotective mother who was not a mail artist.
p.s. the other connection is that I used to live in Tucson and lately I'm meeting a ton of people from there!
Too cool-been to all those places. They used to be so lax on the id thing but not anymore. We probably did cross paths. I used to love going out dancing. Now I would just look like a 'try hard' as my son would say. I used to equate moving to the suburbs with death, but once you have kids you realize why people do it. But I do miss the city. Thanks for the nice reminder-just too cool that you happen to send me that. It was a very cool and colorful bar with lots of neonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
wow! the Esoteria connection is so cool. I've never been there but I must have picked it up at some other club. I was a teenage fake-id'er in the late '80s-early 90's hanging at smart bar, metro, exedus .....and before that ... dancing at Medusa's (where I was actually legal), shopping it up at wax trax, and eating late night at Leona's! Could we have crossed paths??? :)
