July 3, 2014 - It’s always a treat to receive a piece of mail-art from Erica Durante in New Jersey. I admire her choice of colours, the textures and designs she creates and her use of organic form. This missive is special, as she has sent a Trashpo exploration using found material. (I note some asemics as well.) I think the file card is an ingenious touch. Erica taps perfectly into the Trashpo aesthetic (or anti-art) while maintaining her own unique style.

Erica Durante is a member of DKult New Jersey (DKULTJER). With the recent explosion of Trashpo in the UK, I was thinking just yesterday about DKULTJER and wondering about the state of USA Trashpo in general. Her lovely piece affirms that when it comes to Trashpo, the USA is still the world leader.
