Display Model Trashbook from Dkult Chaplain Dustin Hamby

Dustin said it best "I can't see why anyone should throw anything away!" This is proof of why no one should. This book blew me away. his use of rubberbands, fake haire, nails, pottery bits, book binding,  adds a whole new (third)dimension. I feel like he deconstructed an office cubicle after a wild christmas party. The felt just makes me think construction, industrial, institutional. Dustin says he mailed another of these out and I really hope they blog it. thanks Dustin--you were truly dialed in on this one

What a compliment, DVS. Thanks man! I had to go look the whole "Secret Dead Cat Van Conspiracy" thing. Good shit. The Sun Times article about the incident was the first thing that popped up.

Charles Bukowski's "Notes of a Dirty Old Man" meets Tinkler's "Secret Dead Cat Van Conspiracy Journals"  on a rainy day in Cleveland.

I see a recurring Americana theme in Dustin's work.  Love this one almost as I love mine!
