I LOVE this drawing, especially the "Irish thing." Inside the envelope were a bunch of vintage magazine ephemera, which I adore, and a genuine 'hideous St. patrick's Day memorabilia Leprechan" or however you spell it. Thanks a million, David!

David, I read the bit on the back of the envelope and also one inside referring to "Tontine" fabric swatches. Isn't a tontine some kind of suicide pact? I haven't bothered to Google it but I seem to remember a movie that featured a bunch of men in a "tontine" suicide pact. It involved bottles of wine (duh).
