Cristina Blank aka 5 Blanks: Cristina has a new Job, but who will tell her husband?

Every once in a while a mail art piece arrives and just blows your mind.  This time it came in a plain Brown paper bubble envelope.

I opened the envelope and found a small box.  The kind of box you find engagement rings in.  I started by looking at the bottom of the box, and became very excited.

The cover of the box took my fanny immediately.  There was just something about it.

A small golden heart sealed the next compartment.  Also strands of hair, but they could be mine.

The box was now ready to open.  Should I open it or should I not?  What might jump out?

And then I opened it and it took my breath away.  A Homemade barcode, I think this means we're engaged to be married.  But who will tell her husband Job?

Thank you very much Cristina, it really puts a smile to my face every time I see it.  And now after 8 months, I'm so happy to get the chance to blog and share it with everyone else.  Although this means our secret is out!

Best wishes to you two and we all look forward to seeing photos of your Demons and Angels show.

14 years, well that's a long time. Happy V day tomorrow and my best to Job. What a lucky man.

Bar codes are human, too...they get engaged, don't they?

Beautiful box and message!

hi dean,
many thanks for the cool blog.
we laughed out loud. very funny…well done.
BUT you took 8 months…I repeat: EIGHT MONTHS! (or 9…well, a long long long time!!!) to think about a marriage…well, nice try, but JOB was faster! (about 14 years faster, but this is a different story…hehe:-))
by the way, the hairs you found in the box could be mine…fallen from my hairy legs…maybe you remember a mail art piece i already sent long time ago (self portrait is the hint ;-))
bye, over and out.
Cristina

No news from Cristina or Job yet.  I sent her a message.  Maybe she did'nt like the blog after all.  Is anyone friends with Job?
