I'm sure you all heard about the legend of the German Goblin of Worthsee. Some say he lives at the bottom of the lake of the same name. Others say he lives in an attic somewhere on Im Grund street. Others just don't believe the tale of how this creature comes out only on full moon nights and paints the strangest paintings you have ever seen. So strange that they are…

High in the German hills of Wörthsee there is a deep forest. So deep that no Mail Artist has ever been able to venture into it and come out alive. Now for the first time ever, other Mail Artist can see what beauties can be found within this deep forest.
The only thing it is missing is a polka band! But wait, there is more.…

Always a treat awaits me when I see a 5 blanks envelope in the mailbox.
This one is made on what is likely the hole of a mounting board. I wonder what they do with their doughnut holes?…

Massive painting A4 size from Cristina. Without a doubt from her Angels & Demons collection. Very inspiring indeed, and gives me many ideas. (Art ideas)
Oops, I have to be careful what I write because Cristina's husband Job reads these blogs.
Thank you…

Strong yet free-spirited collage from Cristina. This showed up in my mailbox on the very same day that the postman picked up something I was mailing to her! So they crossed within 30 minutes of each other. This might not seem so interesting unless you consider that she and I manage to exchange mail art once a year at best. I loved it! Thanks Cristina. Below are…

Every once in a while a mail art piece arrives and just blows your mind. This time it came in a plain Brown paper bubble envelope.
I opened the envelope and found a small box. The kind of box you find engagement rings in. I started by looking at the bottom of the box, and became very excited.
The cover of the box took my fanny immediately. There was just…

Yes this one had me puzzled for quite some time. It arrived without a return address and no name.
A very unique style and very pleasing. Of course the bar code is the finshing touch and sets the whole balance into movement.
I had to look very close to see if I could work out which Mail Artist could have done this. In the end I took a looking glass and…

The envelope alone was great enough, but the icing on the cake was inside.
Hand painted self portrait. Who could ask for anything more? But my guess it that this is not a self portrait. Maybe just another one of those blanks.…
