Ceci n'est pas le Eiffel Tower from Richard Canard

This was sent to me back in August 2012.  It is not the Eiffel Tower and, technically, it is not the Tokyo Tower either.  Towers are difficult to be sent by the mail.  I very much prefer to receive a picture of it.

Your accent is spot on, Mr. Canard ( which means it goes well with your tie, I presume.)

Visual images are always reliable.  However, languages are important Dr. Duck.  I was once at an airport in China and had to get back to Paris quickly.  Like yourself do not speak Chinese, so I drew a picture of the Eiffel Tower.  To my surprise, a few hours later, I was landing in Tokyo.

That's what I get for goofing off in grade school art class.

29.09.16 Dare Ms. Ana K. & Sir Bradford,  Thanks for posting the  Tokyo postcard  & commentary\ I had already forgotten all about it. I don't speak French (nor Japanese for that matter) so I rarely make  mistakes. I do however supposingly speak English & of course that's where my real problems lie.   Ave uh nez dae. Richard Canard
