Only thirty more seconds here in Paris until World Banana day is over for another year.  Ops, it just turned another day.  But wait, I'm thinking that Finland is so North that maybe it's still  World Banana Day there.  In fact it's so North how do they even know it's daytime or night time?   Maybe I'm still on Banana time.

So here it is, straight from the North of Finland, I give you, Banana Pop by Carina Granlund.And this is no joke, that's real sewing there by a sewing machine.  Andy Warhol & Roy Lichtenstein move over for real Pop Art.Thank you Carina, a nice surprise for you in the morning.   But if it's dark all the time, how do you know when it is passed your bedtime?

Well it doesn't look that dark.  One should never trust those tourist guide books.

WHAT? Charlotte has never hear of Banana Day.  We'll have to drag her into the Banana Group.

Indeed, it is still dark and my headlight comes in handy when I navigate to the mailbox. I found a pleasant surprise in the box today, one banana from Paris is all that is required, and the world's best party continues! Many thanks, Dean!

I have never Known of a Banana Day but I LOVE this sort of banana when comics and stitching come together ! its really wonderful! If there is just one banana left I would b happy to receive one! And would return another fine fruit!
