Mailman came at noontime with a stack of mail art! yay!

Nice new BLUE bikes...I think the rise in Greek postage is paying for these new items :-) As the mailman comes by only once or twice a month, it seems the extra revenue is not going to their salaries or hiring more staff, sigh.

This is the first time I saw him come to deliver the mail, and before I could get downstairs, he had just tossed it all on the stairs as usual. Not a problem, keep the mail art to Athens small and light and it won't be an obstacle on the stairs :-)!

did you run down and collect your mail in person?

the letter carriers here use a similar motorbike to deliver mail. but i think that's mainly for some sort of express mail.
