April 7, 2020 and the postman dropped off what must have been sent weeks ago?

Some are postmarked March 4, 5, 6...

Maybe even one or two from February?

Well, happiness is that the HELLenic Post is (somewhat) working, yay!

But not sending mail beyond Europe??? well, maybe to Canada?

Well, i did send to those of you who sent to me...

but it is likely that mail art from Greece to the States will be "stored"

at the post office for a long time yet :-(

USPS keeps a list of countries that are subject to temporary suspension of service.

Currently Greece is not on that list, so I will continue to send for now.

Oh, dear, 'just found out that a batch of mail art that I sent (through the outside-the-post-office-drop-box) may NOT be going to USA, Canada,Australia,Taiwan and other countries, (perhaps one day will all be returned to me?)

A list of countries where I will be able to send and receive mail

is posted at the Hellenic Post website, which I did not see until now:

ALBANIA, AUSTRIA, BELGIUM, BULGARIA, CANADA, CZECH Rep., DENMARK, FINLAND, FRANCE, GERMANY, GREAT BRITAIN, HUNGARY, ICELAND, ITALY, LATVIA, LITHUANIA, LUXEMBOURG, Ν. MACEDONIA, NETHERLANDS, NORWAY, POLAND, PORTUGAL, ROMANIA, SLOVAKIA, SLOVENIA, SWEDEN, SWIRTZELAND.

Obviously, only to European countries, as there are no international flights, maybe the mail is going "surface mail" by train or trucks? We shall see :-(

Katerina, good to hear from you in your regular IUOMA posts, and I am pleased that the Coffee Clutch arrived. Today (Wednesday 08-Apr) I am dropping off mail at the post office (outside drop box!) and will send you an envelope whose contents will be appropriate to the spring. Stay well!
