You are all going to weep with jealousy when you see the leaves of this sweet, short birthday boekie from pal Vizma...  The cover is even made out of a map in case there was any question of origin:

That's a square cut-out in the front book-face with glassine-pressed flowers!  Awesome...

I don't know if a person can call ANYTHING "Trashmania" or "Trashpo" if it includes delicate fancy papers covered in GOLDLEAF!!!

Always wondered what to do with all those pencil and crayon shreds!  Make 'em into ART!

And it was all wrapped up in a SILVER envelope with more birthday wishes:

 Even the wax seal made it all the way through the mail post!  Thank you, Vizma--you made my special day even sweeter!

I'm afraid I don't know either, guys...it was deposited in a pot by a birdie and I just let it grow to see what it would become. When it flowered it gave off a sweet honey aroma and the bees went crazy, rolling around in it and weighing down the whole plant!

Actually, it was I who was belated in posting Vizma's birthday well-wishes! But the piece itself arrived pretty close to the actual date... that's how far behind I am!!

I wondered what kind of flowers those were, too, MomKat--I thought that maybe they were tiny little white clovers, but looking at the head geometry and flowers, they resemble better some diminutive version of Queen Anne's Lace. But I dunno--there's some mighty mighty weird evolutionary life out on that big island in the middle of the ocean! Maybe Vizma can enlighten us amateur horticulturists...
