Hmmm...Halloween projects, huh? GREAT idea, I always forget about how fun holiday art can be in the making! I like how you refer to your "mixed-media phase." I too go thru heavy duty mail art/art-making phases. As I mentioned earlier, I just passed thru a play/game morph of sorts. Along the way I kind of picked up a motif of blending language with architectural design as I'm in the process (in my real life!) of finding a place to settle here in maine with my hubby-and language, words, poetry, wordplay-that part always manages to eek its way into WHATEVER it is I am working on or into at any given moment! I Grew up writing and I write a little bit more each day or try to...it all has a way of making its way into my mail art...But anywho! Are there any special interests or topics you want me to think about whilst I go about creating something for you? It's sometimes fun to find out and to keep it in mind-or not! Or I go blindly, which is fun, too! It's all fun-who am I kidding here? Glad you saw the post-I'm a bit unsure as to who sees what I post or where it ends up on the website! I notice others who post my sent mail do it somewhere I'm not doing it...I just started putting it all on my page's blog, wasn'y really sure WTF I was doing, still am a bit foggy on all that stuff! My main concern in asking around on this topic is I hope the work I recieve is seen by all, including the maker as well as other site members-I think the process of acquiring new correspondents at least on your side of things leans heavily on this stuff getting seen, am I right? Oh woe is me: Oh so lost technologically! A little rhyme. Till next time: Hilary.
I am glad my postcard reached you so quickly! Thank you, I will look forward to your mailart. Mailart games and puzzles sounds like a cool idea. I think for me, my mixed media phase is very strong, and also starting some Halloween art projects. Happy Friday!
