Angela COPE & Snooky: Joséphine Baker & her famous banana costume

Who doesn't remember Joséphine Baker? I go swimming in a pool named after her, and always thought she was French. But no, she was American. Born in St. Louis Missouri.

She performed the Banana Danse sauvage, wearing a costume consisting of a skirt made of a string of artificial bananas.

I don't think a day goes by without me watching it on U tube! Well if only lasts 20 seconds.
