This is the envelope that was marked MARCH 3, 2020!

It arrived in Greece on July 28, but it did arrive with a collage and

a stamping from 1955 :-)

There's a story behind this,

An enormous shell appeared one day. No one knew who put it

there or even HOW it was put there. It was quite an inconvenience.

Too heavy to move, it remains there.…

On the reverse  - 

The giant shell emerged so slowly that the yachts remained afloat. 

It stayed there for ages, drifting slightly. No one was sure how to prepare for it's leaving,…

On the reverse,

When the daily shell hunters arrived at the bench, their astonishment was palpable. No one knew how to carry away the giant shell nor where they'd display…

People gathered at the lookout to observe the new Shell Building. It was a bit over-whelming and they hoped it was stable, as winds were strong.

For a long time, I've been altering vintage postcards, usually fairly boring ones, with the addition of a piece of art. I have a lot of fun finding just the right piece, with the right angle, to set into the landscape. This is one I did last fall. I'd popped it into a storage drawer, forgot about it, and am now sending it out. Finally, in 2020.    Can you spot the addition? …
