This was such a pleasure to anticipate opening, and then a different pleasure to open (twice! for the stamps were further enveloped in decorated tissue!) Also, I'm one of those bullet journal dabblers and will SO be using some of this for next week's spread, hoping that it keeps me checking in so I stay on task. Thank you kindly, I have thought of the perfect thing to gather in response.…

A beautiful yellow envelope on my fence! Mail Art - day.
What can you do with a Mail Art...?
Put it on the meeting point - next to other mail art by Predrag Petrovic :-) Nederlands meets Serbia in Romania! What a mail art-party :-)
Open it and open them ( the little colourful envelopes, with different content in them)…

Thank you for the great envelope with great envelopes :-)
I`ve got from Ilya Semenenko-Basin some beautiful old envelope and stamps. I like the graphic details, but most the historical charge they have. It was a big event and joy to get them.
I also had a childhood in Romania when we learnt russian in the school, so for me is easy to read the text :-) …

Sometimes I get something in the mail that I just think, “...Whoa. What did I do to deserve something like that showing up in my mailbox?” It’s “Something More Than Mail Art.” Exhibit A:

...That’s an…

I'm so excited! I contacted the Special Collections librarian at the university library where I used to teach. I invited her to come to our home and look at my Mail Art archive. I spent days and days sorting and organizing. I couldn't believe how tired I would get and how long it was taking. I loved seeing all the mail again. Old memories, remembering when I got pieces. My…

These came separately in the mail more than a week apart. How lucky am I to get double-whammied??! The first one (top) is a painted envelope that Ruud has apparently been saving in his mail launcher for several years. "Sometimes it takes time for a piece to start traveling," Ruud notes. I have a large stash of envelope and postcard pieces I have…

Yesterday, when I got home from 10 days away from my mailbox, I found a BUNCH of wonderful mail art, including this fat envelope from Carina. Inside were many wonders, including the piece at the top of the photo, a digital fold out of what looks like a big fat…

Correct me if I'm wrong, but (as the postage has already been paid by the addressee/original sender) one could technically repurpose pre-metered envelopes without additional postage for personal correspondence, aye?
Back in the 1990s, a couple of friends sent me letters in these envelopes, and no one went to prison.
Thank you for any and all…
