It’s really unusual and special to receive something as big as 12x18, but Jane sent me this gorgeous encaustic monotype which I really love! I have never done encaustic myself, but I often admired the process.
Not sure if the orientation is correct but maybe vertical like this reminding me a tree?
Many thanks Jane!…

This great superhero envelope did travel quite fast from France, taking only 5 days back in 2018.
I love the idea of a shy superhero...
I also liked how Eric used two reddish Marianne's to…

Mail art by Jean-Marc Rastorfer (Lausanne, Switzerland)
March 5, 2019 - I am thrilled to have received this exceptional correspondence art from Jean-Marc Rastorfer in Switzerland (apparently not an IUOMA member).

This is only my second piece from this Israeli mail artist and I think she's off on a roll! I love this! And she sent me a bunch of funny money, one of which is a "real" Viet Namese Dong. My uncle, who was an "adviser" before and during the Viet Nam war, used to get a great kick out of asking me "wanna see my dong?" It was funny the first 8,000 times…

I love these tiny at works Josh makes, and invites others to make! I haven't listened to the snail music yet but I'll do it soon!

Mail art by IUOMA member Ilya Semenenko-Basin (Moscow, Russia)
March 4, 2019 - This is the first mail art I have received from Ilya Semenenko-Basin. I am thrilled to have this work for the M-L Archives. I adore Russian mail art which I find vibrant and active. In particular, Russia is a powerhouse of international visual poetry. I would love to receive more!
Lately, I have spotted what I believe is a trend in…
