baggie boekie from Kate in Greece

I'm just getting into making boekies and this is inspiring.

who was it?

Someone in Canada made a call for envelopes to mark the :-( future demise of the to-the-door postal system there and also to celebrate their birthday, but who was it? I can't find it anywhere now... any clues anyone?

The British Postal Museum and Archive has sent out a call to hear about "the strangest thing you've received through the mail - what's the story and what does it mean to you". You can email them:

peoplespost@postalheritage.org.uk

I don't know what their plan is, but thought I'd let you know antway!

Inspirational dining with a modern twist

mailart martha and stripygoose hit the gallery@oxo, London's Southbank

mailart martha and stripygoose both exhibited envelopes at a charity exhibition on London's Southbank. The brief was simple yet confusing, the exhibition was wonderful, the charity - National Brain Appeal - raised thousands and we had a friendly meet-up at the gallery.

Take a look at the 276 envelopes that were on display. Here's the link to the on-line gallery:…

In case you can't read the text, bottom right of the card:

'Nothing stays secret round here'.

Is that a good thing? I don't know, but this card is high on my favourites list. …

See you all soon in the post and thanks again.…
