Finley says his mother made the three "Santa motif thingies" many years ago -- he had the scanned and can now use them in his own art projects. He also made the very sweet little envelopes for each one. The giant puzzle piece is extra. In the next picture, the other sides of the ATC's and envelopes....…

Grethe Bjornhaug makes such lovely pieces! On top, "mixed media and acrylic on paper"--gorgeous colors and textures. Below, an altered postcard. Vincent would have loved the chicks looming over everything! Wow indeed! Thanks Grethe! Godt…

My scanner doesn't even BEGIN to capture the brilliance of these colors and textures. The card is painted, but also the lower part is covered with fabulous brocade silk. I love the tear near the bottom right with the whitish paint revealed. It's really not white but many colors, all reflections of the colors in the rest of the piece. Just wonderful! Thank you so much, Lorella…

I love Diane's envelope, which is made out of a recycled "letter to Santa." Great artistamps of the Goddess Herself! And on the other side (inside of the envelope)...…

Anita, I just love the bird on your envelope. He looks thoroughly drenched and disgusted at his plight. Up behind him comes a cat, I think, with a purple rose in her mouth! Inside, another wonderful creature! I hope you are safe, Anita, and can have a good holiday in spite of the madness that surrounds us all! Peace to you and everyone in…

Two really nice collage pieces from Joey and Gail. So many different styles of mail art--that's why it's so much fun to make and receive! Thanks Joey P. and Gail A.

Shelly Tracy made the lovely Solstice card with the sun on it -- and YEA, today is Solstice! Sheri Rice sent the stitched, painting, glittery and poetic card at top right. Below them is a beautiful card from Lynne Gurnee. The forest scene background is from a rubber stamp a friend gave her. Lovely. Thanks you…

Joel's new poem, like a Bob Dylan song! And I'm not sure about the bicycle riding lesson -- doesn't seem to me that would work, but what do I know.... This sticker was on the front of the envelope. Seems so apt for today's mess. Thanks…

There are three of these erasure pieces in this Mail Art Package from David. I'm tempted to treat them as Add & Passes, what do you all think?…

Here's a Dada version of the "fish without a bicycle" quote AND two erasure poems. Love the way he makes these -- so much more elegant than simply marking through words. And then... the back of the envelope with a heretofore undiscovered piece of pre-Columbian…

Wm. made these dark pieces, I think in response to the American election. Seems to be on everyone's mind--hard to forget! However I love these pieces--the images are a little creepy, as they should be. But beautiful. The postcard was naked and came through perfectly. Thanks…

I really Love the whimsy of Ruud's art. This one could be an airplane, a boat, a person, the sky's the limit! "Digital Brain Complex"! And below is an interpretation of our very shameful American election. Nice work. And of course the envelope is always the best part!…

Dean send this valuable new invention: the Banana Hammer! 3D doesn't scan well on my scanner, but you get the picture! The back of this card is really marvelous, too. Thanks Dean! HAPPY INTERNATIONAL BANANA APPRECIATION…

LIGMA (Liam Coerr) sent me this wonderful gold painted response to the American election. Very true, LIGMA. And then he sent this fantastic boekie. The first picture shows the "cover" and the next shows it unfolded. The last is the back side of the unfolded boekie. Just terrific, so soulful. Thanks Liam!…

I just LOVE this card--I don't think I've ever seen "Pastor Birthday" as a greeting card category before!
Thanks for the "random litter"…
