Kart

Just received the latest KART mailart collective box set. Featuring me and fifteen others; including the one and only John M Bennett. I have a photo of it but I've temporarily misplaced my cord that connects to the computer so, when I find that, I'll add a photo to this post. It looks awesome. Check out David Dellafiora's page for more info.

Received: Halloween mail-art from Snooky (Port Washington, Wisconsin, USA)

October 24, 2010 - How many countries in the mail-art network celebrate Halloween? All Snooky knows is they do in Wisconsin, and it's sometimes not as much fun for dogs as it is for humans. Yet Angie Cope's amazing mail-art dog - who has graduated from scanning to become a practicing artist in his own right - is in the spirit and sending out some wonderful mail-art (above). Pictured… Continue

Received: Bifidus Jones' chapter for Cheryl Penn's "The Crimsoned Giant" mail-art project (St. Paul, Minnesota, USA)

October 24, 2010 - Bifidus Jones' chapter for Cheryl Penn's ambitious "The Crimsoned Giant" project needs no introduction for many here at the IUOMA. I'm blogging it myself hoping a few more people might see it and also so I'll have it in my own archives. I'm very glad to have this because it is one of the finer examples of mail-art by Bifidus I've seen thus far. IMHO. These pages have… Continue

Studio Tour November 21, 2010

Sorry I've been away so long, life, work, sleeping and all that.

I'm going to be part of a studio tour on November 21 in Los Angeles. Not my studio, it's too small and obscure, but I'll be the guest of Gallery Oranges and Sardines. Here's the whole story including maps and the event postcard.

If anyone would like this postcard, please send me your mailing address and… Continue

deceptioncall

The human being knows that there is deception and yet succumbed to the wiles. There is always prepared for the trap rather than is created, it's smart or experienced. A popular saying warns: "To the best hunter he is the hare."…

Mail from Kiera

I received a nice piece from Kiera. "Something I Left". It looks like an Oscar fish. Inside the fish it says Quebec and superstition. This is a labor intensive piece so I really appreciate getting it. Thank you Kiera.
