Junanne's cards were some of the first to arrive before I figured out this blog element was on the site, so I just put the pics on my page. I'll get the early pieces up onto the blog hopefully tonight, but I've got this one in hand now-paint splashes by fifth graders. I saw the longing in the children's eyes from this side. How fun! A shrouded chalice texture poem from Borderline Grafix. It really feels great and there is a Beetle and sleeping cat on the reverse. The card is from the Musee Suisse in Zurich. Fascinating, Borderline Grafix-Thank you!

Again, so much to show on a little card! First off, the kids dig fish-and really dig fish puns, so the O-Fish-L Mail Art stamp was a hit-as was the artistamp-non cents for currency on puffy fish artistamp-Terrific! And then there is the other side-the atmosphere of envelope liner bubbles-fabulousness, again, from humble materials! I love your mark, too, Adamandia! Thank you for a really fine example!…

A lesson in hand lettering and laying stamps and prints from Leslie. I love the use of the gelli print on cereal box-is it a gelatine print? Anyway, great texture! And the lettering is a great example of possibilities with drawing letters as content/design element. The kids (including my son) are really keen on seeing what letters can do when they are allowed free reign with them! Thank you, Leslie! …

Claudia, I am so in love with this piece. It has so many good ideas in a charming little story-uch humble materials into magic. Where do I begin? OK-Cowboy mail art-beautiful watercolor out West-with Woody, no less (big hit with the the kids-a shock of recognition-on a stamp!) I am uploading the amazing submissions we've been receiving sort of catch as catch can. Mail Art Martha's envelope was full of trasures from Retalia inside and out! The "Marths" got a lot of laughs and, by popular request and permission from Martha the First, we will be sending the kids home a copy of her cut and assemble Shopping Trolly Gallery with a nice packet of mail art materials to bring home.
