i received Mail Art from William M

such a nice collage, incorporating more of the marbled paper. i can't help notice that this guy/these guys is/are stuck between gallows and neanderthal... hidden intention? makes me wonder how much planning goes into these cards. thank you William for all your mail, and for all your contributions to the…

i received Mail Art from Coco Muchmore

the blue cat is on the prowl... i concur with Coco that we must not let the forces of hatred, bigotry, and stupidity hold sway. just because the US was founded with acts of genocide and land grabs doesn't mean that the outdated dogma of 'manifest destiny' can't be replaced with a more compassionate and inclusive paradigm. maybe human/american…

I've been "away" from IUOMA for awhile; my mind and emotions just trying to deal with life events, including the fact that California is on FIRE! While Los Angeles is far from me, the area that burned is huge, and densely populated. Closer to me is the lithium-ion battery plant [toxic] fire at Moss Landing (very near to a wildlife preserve area), which is still burning, I believe. But I have been receiving some beautiful Mail Art from all over the globe, and will be posting on that, shortly.…

Incoming: Mystery Mail, Eiichi Matsuhashi, and Amy Candiotti

Mystery mail. Anyone know who sent this? uncancelled uk stamps, a mail art postmark stamp that says "Artist in Seine" but it looks to have been collaged onto the card from another envelope so I'm not sure if it is from AIS or just someone else in disguise?…

I received Mail Art from Matt Ferranto

Mail from the USA. Please note that Mail Art without an envelope looks very impressive; in this case, a small, rigid cardboard rectangle with a collage, professionally varnished. The Thing came as a postcard.

So, in Santa Barbara County, CA, the artist Matt Ferranto lives, an art teacher who participates in Mail Art under the pseudonym…
