Altered Cigar Box Lid from Debra Mulnick

Wonderful altered cigar box lid from Debra in Idaho. It arrived naket and almost intact. There were a few minor postal changes. I especially like the matches. Debra has a wonderful sense of color and what bits are going to work with what other bits. Love it.…

Spooky Face from William M.

Super Spooky face from William M. The shape of the eyes and eyebrows somehow remind me of George W. Bush, who was not nearly as scary as our next president! Then on the back, an erasure poem, the sad story of Carmen Sternwood. "For a moment the gun." Great…

WooHoo BIG Mail Art from Sparkle! (Part 2)

Then, a "zine" entitled (maybe) "phasisi skills" -- I love this way of making a little zine--this one is wonderfully surreal. My favorite page is the one that says "iron nail in boiled water, no air=shiny nail" but the Australian bird is pretty nice, too.

There was also a bookmark, which I didn't scan because it's already keeping my place in my latest detective…

Matthew Stolte's Mail Art

Matthew sends a new print/painting/stamp (what would you call this?) Vispo-oriented for sure. A little bit Trashpo, too, maybe? And some omens! Love the Luna Bisonte stamp! Thanks Matthew!

"Botanical Quagmire" from Denise

Always wonderful to see Denise's precise, well-thought-out, and beautiful mail art. Look at the "seal-stamp" on the note, lower right. It's 3-D, very lovely. Thanks Denise! I continue to be amazed.

Happy New Year

Don't let the bastards grind you down. The meek will inherit the earth but only after protracted legal battles.
