Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
i am concerned about the encroachment of technology into our daily lives and how that has affected how we learn , live and communicate. i am interested in the the postal system as a way to communicate as well as loving paper/ stamps/ cancellations and postal ephemera. I like art that is small scale, personal, which can be collaborative and sent by post to far flung climes.

hey mail art rocketeers….the website is finally live with pics from the launch day to view….your mail art travelled in the tall red /white and blue rocket that looks a bit like a very American patriotic firecracker with images of astronaut enclosed in star symbol….sadly on the day our rocket wasn't the best flyer on the day but we did send 2 rockets up and the one with the hammer and sicyle logo flew brilliantly….the exhibition of all the rockets opens next monday, will take some pics to…

Rocket project call hi mail artists…this is a call to send letters or mail art on the theme of what you would say to whomever might find your letter/art work after is has been shot into space by a rocket….although your letter/artwork won't go into deep space it will be a working rocket, be launched and fly pretty high into the atmosphere before coming back down to earth..your artwork/letter will be part of a collaborative project…

Hi Jude

I'm catching up on my backlog of mail art. I can't remember if I notified you--The Art+Rockets Field Guide arrived in a timely manner last year--beautifully done. The web site is very well designed, as well. So glad that all went well.

I was delighted to be part of your project.

Jude I have received your woman-mermaid. But just for me, it's a postcard and not a mailart, beacause no adresse and no stamp in the face there art is :-)))
But beautiful art. Thank you verry much.
