Why I am involved in Mail-Art:: I believe with are fast pace lives and using the internet we have lost something that is truly a beautiful thing. Hate to sound like a cliche but we need to stop and smell the roses. Mail art is such a wonderful way to communicate with some one so that memories can be kept or passed forward. I also like this notion of creating something in the moment and releasing it. It makes the process of art so monumental for the receiver and the giver. There is no judgment in mail art it just is. What a freeing way to make art.
