THE COLORS BEYOND - 3rd International Painting Symposium in INDIA
Esta aventura inició en septiembre de 2019 al recibir la invitación por parte la Facultad de arte de la Universidad SRI SRI de Odisha, India para participar del Tercer Simposio de Pintura que estaban siendo curado por Shama Shondi.
Las fechas previstas serian para enero de 2020, pensé que no había mejor forma de iniciar el año. ¡Y fue así!
Me llevo varios meses organizar mi viaje, cartas, certificados, visa, pasajes, hospedaje en Delhi, contactar artistas, visitas, etc.
Lo que más me entusiasmaba era el encuentro con otros artistas, el Simposio sería de 14 días, conviviendo todos en la residencia de estudiantes de la universidad. Todo el día pintando juntos, conversando, haciendo presentaciones de nuestra obra y trayectoria cada tarde, comiendo en el comedor universitario, hicimos algunos paseos junto a los estudiantes de la facultad también. Todo eso fue enriquecedor, una experiencia maravillosa mientras nos conocíamos y nos acercábamos a través de la rica cultura hindú.
Participaron artistas de varios países, como Bangladesh, Tíbet, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Italia, Francia, España y Perú conmigo, ¡claro!
Conocimos personas muy interesantes, disfrutamos de la gentileza y hospitalidad de la gente hindú a cada paso. aprendí mucho y me di cuenta de que este es era un viaje diferente, India te hace viajar con el corazón. ¡Inolvidable!
This adventure began in September 2019 upon receiving invitation from the Faculty of Art of SRI SRI University in Odisha, India to participate in the Third Painting Symposium that were being curated by Shama Shondi.
The planned dates would be for January 2020, I thought there was no better way to start the year. And it was!
It took me several months to organize my trip, letters, certificates, visa, tickets, accommodation in Delhi, contact artists, visits, etc.
What excited me most was the meeting with other artists, the Symposium would be 14 days, all living in the student residence of the university. All day painting together, chatting, making presentations of our work and trajectory every afternoon, eating in the university dining room, we did some walks with the students of the faculty as well. All this was enriching, a wonderful experience while we knew each other and approached through the rich Hindu culture.
Artists from several countries, such as Bangladesh, Tibet, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Italy, France, Spain and Peru, participated with me, of course!
We met remarkably interesting people, we enjoyed the kindness and hospitality of the Hindu people at every step. I learned a lot and realized that this is a different trip, India makes you travel with your heart. Unforgettable!
TALLERES ABIERTOS DE POBLENOU 2019

No dejen de preparar su ruta y disfrurar de los espacios artísticos del barrio más creativo de Barcelona.

Esta propuesta expositiva pretende mostrar mi proceso creativo y experimental en los últimos años. En el hombre moderno late una nostalgia y una necesidad de imaginar lugares utópicos del recuerdo y el deseo, recreando una geografía de espacios anhelados, es así que surge mi serie ESPACIOS DESEADOS, coordenadas geográficas emocionales, un Google-maps interior, creando espacios en los que quisiera habitar.
Con este sentimiento de exilio y búsqueda encuentro en la materia y el color la fe ante la existencia cierta de un hogar primordial. En una primera etapa el color surge de la necesidad interior de llenar vacíos, pero en mi proceso experimental del espacio me he encontrado con los silencios y he luchado con los vacíos, llevándome a preguntarme: ¿El vacío debía ser colmado como fuera? Desde su nacimiento en la vieja Grecia, nuestra cultura occidental se ha visto obsesionada por el horror al vacío. Pero El espacio en blanco es fértil! Lo he ido experimentando en mi pintura, he sentido que estos espacios en blanco, huecos, ausencias y absolutos son como los silencios del poema o de la música, constituyen su parte activa, creando un dinamismo interno. Así surge la serie DONDE HABITA EL SILENCIO.
Hay silencio antes de nacer , hay silencio en la muerte, entonces que es la vida? Es ese ruido que hay entre esos dos silencios insondables. Un ruido de color, vital y reflexivo, que persiste, dialoga y lucha con la nada. Giacometti afirmó que “La finalidad del arte no es reproducir la realidad, sino crear una realidad de la misma intensidad”…ésta es mi premisa, la que me permite lanzar al horizonte estos lienzos, cuya blancura inicial me han dado el derecho a soñar con el color pero también con vacíos bien pensados, creando espacios con un propio vocabulario, en busca de una construcción personal del mundo y de mí misma.
ABSTRACT THINKING es el resultado de todos estos procesos de pensar y sentir. Como artista me doy , y al mismo tiempo proporciono al publico un escenario para sus percepciones, preguntas y reflexiones habitando el color y sobre todo los espacios en blanco, compartiendo con ellos el derecho a soñar.

Uno de sus principales objetivos es contribuir a la visibilidad de los artistas, especialmente las mujeres creativas, crear una red de información y promover la interacción entre artistas y la sociedad sobre el tema de las MUJERES.

En este evento, que tendrá lugar en el propio taller "Milpedras", se hablará de arte postal y poesía visual, se recitará poesía experimental y se realizará un acto de performance. También se celebrará un taller de arte postal.
