stamps have always been used to honor officialy approved heroes - politicians, generals, scientists and all the famous throughout history and it is about time that the average person, the regular joe, the poor *'* who has to fight all the battles and pay all the taxes and put up with life ... about time they got to be on stamps as well if not instead. You have inspired me to put my old man on a stamp .... should have done it ages ago. Thanks to you for the inspiration.

by the way, i liked the other stamps you sent too. some from me heading your way soon as pos.
