Please put me on the waiting list for the larger size collage (just kidding, sort of). I can't stump you Erni - a German translation of "Go" - very cool. I have an English edition and plenty of background (unlike Naropa) but thank you so much. John Clellon Holmes and that crew were probably the earliest Beats. No? When Kerouac and Ginsberg were at Columbia. Oh! And Herbert Hunke, right? And Lucien Carr. I'm sure you DO know all that.

Kat! Typos are part of the art! Typos produce all kinds of interesting things!

Erni, here's one for you that does begin to dig down into Beat obscurity. Have you ever heard of John Clellon Holmes? Have you ever heard of a novel called "Go" that is in some ways as much of a classic as "On the Road"?

I am getting Herr Haptic Erni's postcard collages and liking them very much, too.Almost "minimal" and yet, as Sloan says, very "solid"! Also, the postgal can deliver them to my door...rather then having to go and wait for an hour or so at the post office (no FedEx delivery here) However, now the new series of Erni's A4 collages are also coming to my stairwell, safe and unharmed, so...the Off-Scene Akademie Hamburg may proceed with larger (though way more expensive that 0.75 euro!) Maybe economize and stay with postcard collages?

Thanks Ernie,The Haptic Wereolf stikes TWICE today in Greece! both fantastic!

Hi, it is very interesting to have an original. Erni, your collages are built to last. It is SOLID. However, I can see how running it through the postal system might chew it up a bit. I would love to have a larger piece by you. I'm not sure what I can do in exchange, but I suppose some kind of karma will balance it out. Thanks again.

Erni, the collage did come through a bit distressed, but that's part of it of course. The transparent material is a piece of tape. I wondered why it was there but did not remove it. After seeing so much of your work at the IUOMA, I had thought the collages were larger. I still assume they are.
