The suitcase is paper glued over a foam core. For the leather, I used a textured brown paper and lightly sponged a darker brown ink to get a leather look. A later version was covered with travel stickers (all rubber stamped and covered with a glossy plastic, cut out and glued on the suitcase) After all that work it was sad to see them get mailed away.
