The title of this is "100 years from today, a lovely "meditation in colours" that
Big Frank would be proud of.

Glad you liked that saying. Unfortunately, I can't take credit for it entirely. My husband usually says it to me when I get too wrapped up in a piece of work and, hopefully, before I do something to it that I regret massively.

Yes, I like that  -

. 'looking at things with a fresh pair of yes'.

yes it does + in an unthreatening almost   (at times) subliminal way

That's what I like to call "looking at things with a fresh pair of eyes". It makes sense. It gives you a chance to re-evaluate what you have done.

Thank you very much. I enjoyed the Dean Martin -- great thought.

Great hearing about your art table and how you pass by to the laundry.  I love hearing of how different people do things, arrange things + go about it all...

I like to look in the morning at what i did the day before - and usually dreied then.  But if i didnt do much  / anythin there's loads of other stuff to cast an eye over and feel reconnected t oit again and so (hopefully) to the beguinning day  ....   (ramble, ramble...  :)

I do that with my work as well. My art table is near the laundry room, so I pass it a lot and make decisions back and forth while doing the laundry :0)

Anyway, I found this nice version of 100 years from today by Dean Martin and thought I would share it:

(Btw, I did hear the Teaegarden version which is real nice.)

Another beauty by Laurence! Here I see wonderful watercolor transparent

color forms and shapes....growing , moving.

Where will we be 100 years from now? Still making mail art if science can help us!

many thanks for posting this Louise  (gives me a thrill!).

This one grew on me (I make something and then put it up on a shelf by my art table to see if led to add to it; + to wait and see, who I'm drawn to send it to. ) So often weeks pass in this process.

So there's usually a date of starting to make and a posting date on my stuff !

Yes ' Be Happy while you may' is a thought brought on by the thought : 'Where will we be 100 years from ...today' !!  :)  I love Teagarden sing ing it
