This is a beautiful work of art.

Seeing enough of other artists' asemic work to start to discern distinctive styles must be an exciting moment.  The cursive aspect was there in the earlier works ('90s), it must be innate.  When working on what for me is "regular" collage art, I'm slow -- think too much, and study works-in-progress for days or weeks or occasionally even months.  And those aren't exactly huge works!  But asemic writing does come easily to me -- it does feel natural, like it's trying to get out or at least really wants to.  It comes out quite quickly.  It almost feels like I must be channeling something or someone -- whether it's my deepest subconscious or more universal than that I don't know.

With the different artists doing asemic writing, you can start to see distinctive styles. Those cursive-like lines of yours - those are really interesting. I'm starting to wonder how fast and slow people go writing those - they definitely are expressive. Good stuff.

Yes.  And they did look happy together all in a row before they got piled into an envelope.  You are giving me ideas.

Your comment about honesty was lovely; it made my evening.

Much appreciated, Alicia, thanks.   Do people actually do 4 feet by 6 feet asemic writing/art?
