Hey Austin, I saw your post to Cheryl - please no "I'm not worthy syndrome." I am thrilled to be part of a book project with you. I will always be at the bottom of the class - so don't worry. I am proud my mail-art looks like a monkey did it. No, a monkey could do better. I think your stuff is great - I'm seriously honored.

Oh yeah, The Grateful dead song. See, like I wrote Jen Staggs, the work of art gets separated fast from the artist and his/her intentions. The piece sure holds up on it's own for me. And yeah: mailart NOT maleart. I think this was maybe Texas MailArtists Day at IUOMA. Remember next year: September 18, 2011. Texas MailArtists Day. Thank you very much, it was inspired by the Grateful Dead song of the same name, a long standing favorite of mine.
