Sorry it's been so long! I've been going nuts on the music side of things - almost have an entire CD of my original music ready! :)

But, also, I do collaborations - come have a listen:
Here in America

It's no 1 on the site right now and it's social commentary - I am pleasantly surprised by the response! I wrote the lyrics and melody and do all of the singing. My friends did the guitar, the bass, the keyboards, and the drums. :)

Collective book of mail art.

Send 18 works of size 14.8 X 21 cm (A5 vertical), numbered and signed,
for making up a series of volumes with different artists in each. Each
volume will contain a minimum of 14 artworks, one per artist. Modify
each copy in order to make them unique originals. All techniques:
printings, drawings, paintings, photographs, collages...

Each participant will receive a volume.

Deadline: october, 2010.

A tribute for the city of Portogruaro through a project involving art through mail. The keywords chosen as the theme are the motif of its foundation, joined in a common flow.

Limit
border between earth and water,
the river harbor and the trade routes,
the channels and the gardens of the palaces,
a constant reference to a change in system, material and colour.

Exchange
not only of goods but also of colours and scents,
artistic and architectural influences,
mutual knowledge, therefore culture.

Sign
a condition of consent expressed in gesture, the conclusion of an agreement,
a trace superimposed on many others:
whose meaning is beyond the sum of the parts.

Dear Networker, dear Lacillotto

On the 18th of September 2011 the Art Museum of the Canton of Thurgau in Switzerland will have an Opening for the exhibition "Conquer the Living Rooms of the World." This is a retrospective of my artistic activities from almost the last 40 years.

One section of the exhibition is dedicated to my activity in the world-wide Mail Art Network. I am inviting you to send me one of your typical creatively altered letter envelopes and one of your sheets of stamps. The deadline is the 10th of September. Your contribution will be integrated into the exhibition and will become a part of the museum's collection.

This personal invitation is being extended to around 60 of my "old" Mail Art partners with whom I am currently still in contact with through Facebook.

Have you thought about an original artifact as opposed to an original image? I seem to be headed that direction - for example, an altered image (working with the iconic Mona Lisa at the moment) but hand painted? What happens when the actual physical item is an original?
