    LIMITE, SCAMBIO, SEGNO
    LIMIT, EXCHANGE, SIGN
A tribute for the city of Portogruaro through a project involving art through mail. The keywords chosen as the theme are the motif of its foundation, joined in a common flow.

    Limit
    border between earth and water,
the river harbor and the trade routes,
the channels and the gardens of the palaces,
a constant reference to a change in system, material and colour.

    Exchange
not only of goods but also of colours and scents,
    artistic and architectural influences,
    mutual knowledge, therefore culture.

    Sign
a condition of consent expressed in gesture, the conclusion of an agreement,
a trace superimposed on many others:
whose meaning is beyond the sum of the parts.

Project by Rizoo Group, Tiziana Baracchi and Pro Loco di Portogruaro
    Format and dimension of work:
square of maximum size 21 X 21 cm
    No e-mail

No returns, no jury, no fee, no sales

    Exhibition in Portogruaro, 2010

    hi Michael,
Sorry I have been so long in answering, lots of problems but the worst is that i am very reluctant to join any more groups because i cannot give them the attention i would like. In this one, IUOMA, for instance, I have not been able to join in any discussions for lack of time. Also if I join yours I will have to join everybody's and already I had to refuse a few. Since this started it is amazing how many have appeared. So I hope you understand and forgive me.
how is the family? Archie must be at university if not married by now. Love to all of you.

  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

    Hello Michael,
'Just was intrigued by your collection of rubber stamps...and is that an "Alice-in-Wonderland" one I spotted? Very "in" now with the Johnny Depp movie and all, and I have such a vibre with that tale, I even have a "facsimile" from Lewis Carroll's original hand written manuscript ("Alice's Adventures Under Ground").

Anyway, you have me thinking of searching the flea market at Monasteraki the next time I am in Athens. Surely there would be old rubber stamps there?
See you in the mail...I shall make the paper bird/planes and send it off before this month ends!
    All the best,
    Katerina
  • treena

Bonjour! I like your 'Grandad' "old-fashioned" collage. Here's one I made of my father, when he was in Burma during his WW2 RAF days.
