Mail-Artist since:
Hmmm, been doin' weird things with mail since the early 70s, but only with friends/family until 1994.
My Website (without http://):

Why I am involved in Mail-Art:
The usual reasons: it's truly democratic (if you ignore the poor folks who don't have mail service) and it is NECESSARY for my soul to create/share art in such a fashion. I can't quite put a finger on why I went from collecting stamps to making my own stamps when in my early teens thinking I was the only weirdo on the planet to do such a thing.

Dear Bradford, thank you for your feedback on my poems. I could tell you the addresses on the Internet where all available English translations of my poems are located.

    Hi there Bradford!

this one took off a few days ago  - but I'm afraid the postage 's too weak . . .  I checked this morning at the post office, but the letter was gone already. . . we'll see then. Have a nice day !

Hi Bradford! I will do my best to bore you about typography and margins! Nice items you have (in a nice rustic setting)! I have to figure out this IUOMA interface, but I'm excited to be here and part of the community. I learned about it from my friend Mim.

  • Trisha Kummer

I don't know if I can comment on your comment so I'm commenting here...

Thanks for checking out my site. It's interesting because I was thinking about changing my views on watercolor. I've started doing more planned-out semi- traditional work with them lately and I might like it. Still not sure though. I'd strongly recommend playing with them at any rate. Just jump right in! Whether it's a pan of crayola watercolors or a single tube of Windsor and Newton, just do it!

Funny that you just left Austin so recently. I hope life is good in Deadwood. At least people know how to deal with winter up there...

Hi Bradford, thanks for the info but I had his address on the map, I just thought he was there. I wanted to thank him directly for his two postcards.
I hope to have one from you soon ^^ see you soon. Greetings, sandra

I mainly take photos using the traditional method on black and white negatives (medium format, e.g. 6x9 or 6x6 cm), and the prints are made in the darkroom on photographic paper.
For the purposes of the blog, there are also scans from negatives.
I use old cameras, sometimes even 100 years old (eg Kodak Brownie).
But for the purposes of the blog, I also sometimes use electronic devices, without modifying the image made.

Welcome & thanks for the kind comment! Great Fluxus Dakota stamps.

Ciao Caro Amico!  può essere!  Un fraterno abbraccio, W LA MAIL ART!!!

  • Bruno Cassaglia - poetArtist

Ciao Caro Amico, scusa ma non ho compreso cosa volevi dire con "There you go".

Hello Dear Friend, sorry but I did not understand what you meant by "Here you are".

  • Cheryl Roeske

My website is under construction right now which is why it does not work. I play with small and large groups. Making art is another form of music :)

Hiya, Bradford. No teaching now, but I am still involved sending pieces to nieces. Got way deeper involved in press and writing a book and having a midlife crisis. Glad to be back! Got a stamp perforator, so upping artiststamp game.

How are things with you? What are you up to?

  • Thomas Pratt

l will take that as a compliment. I`m honored. I would like to send you my visual thoughts.

Like my brain in a box.. Still recovering from 2017 wildfire. It took away my soul and mojo.

I like your page and collections. I will send post your way

  • Thomas Pratt

Everything on my page was lost in the 2017 Santa Rosa wildfire.

This is the first time I have been able to look at my art.

Without a body of work how can I say I am an artist ????

    But I value your comments.

  • Christopher Challen

    Dear Bradford,

with Acrylic made soft with different  water-thinning I like to work. But

I make also collages combined with colour-painting. Collages  I produce with material  from  strange  medias or  by own, most outcuts of my own fotocoped works, which are  paintet with different medias, most acylic colours. My idea is, to shape autonom artpieces send by MAIL;  the communication should be in it, but has not  priority.

With warm regards Ottmar - Kunstwindhund

Please excuse my bad english- language, I'm not good in it.

  • Maxima Strange

    Hi Bradford!

    Thanks for the invite!

cursive + calligraphy YES! (although I never learned how to drive a car and I'm just now learning how to write in "real" calligraphy (as opposed to the faux variety (felt-tipped pens and heating by adding strength to downstrokes to mimic the real deal)!

I see there is no option to change fonts here No worries.
