Thank you for the postcard! I just got it today.  I love the perfection of your stamps, they always inspire me to keep it simple and clean and to let the unit speak instead of the individual stamp.  Does that make sense??  I all-around love your work and thank you for thinking of me!

  • Sandra Lefever

Got your postcard... It's really cool! You have such a good eye for composition...

    Jennie,

I received your mail art Friday. Beautiful. What a surprise that your husband & grandfather had a law office here in Ferndale. Such a small world. Thanks for the zines. So many creative people in this world. John King books is a great place. I've been learning about the world of philatellic at America's Stamp Stop in Berkeley. I was talking with Todd about Good Mail Day and he said "I know Jennie!". What a fun surprise.

    Hello Jennie,

I received your mail art on Monday. Thanks.

Your ink stamp background around the vintage Indian and German stamps looks fantastic. You have great rubber stamp designs! I've been to John King Books twice in the last month. Bought some vintage postcards and a few books. What a great resource. Your vintage Telephone Building postcard & Detroit architecture artistamp designs are very cool. Thanks. I was in America's Stamp Stop a few weeks ago and sent Todd your regards. They're such a great family business. They even offer a free hotdog lunch on Saturdays. I love that store.

Regarding my mail art reply to you, it will probably be a few weeks.

Looks wondrous! Thanks for sharing Jennie!

(btw, I've no doubt you receive more mail than you can keep track of, but I sent you something a while back - do you know if you ever received it? I understand if you don't know of course... my involvement in MA is rather sparse, and there can still be so much that even I sometimes lose track... %_^) Best,Claire

Celebrate IUOMA's 25th anniversary! See the Call for Entries on my IOUMA page, or at http://decordisart.blogspot.com/   I would like to receive mail art from you--and I will send you something in return. I've been following your blog and activities for a long time. Met you and Caroline at a Book Arts Jam at Foothill Collage when you were in your Girl Scout Uniform stage--memorable!

PS: My IUOMA avatar is my life mask interpreted as Gaia, Earth Goddess. I used seed pods, snakeskin, feathers, bone animals and semi-precious stones, as well as other decorative items.
