But if you do send me something, I will return something to you, but it might take a little while.
After 6 years (+3000 pieces sent) it's time to take a Mail Art break.
Hope to be back someday when I retire for good.
I admired your 'scratch card' post to Erni. The mail-art I'm sending to him won't be so valuable. ha ha! I would like to send something to you, but I need your snail mail address. See you in the mailbox!
Dean thank you extra for the two superb and huge cards. It so happens that the London Postal Museum and Archive, where I went for a lecture, is doing research on the most bizzarre item received by the post. They gave me a card to send them with a description of the 'thing' so I went one extra mile and pasted photos of your largest and most amazing offering. Here it is :
and on the other side I wrote a glowing description as well. I do not know what they will do but surely they will let me know and I will let tell you. Thanks again!
Dear Dean, I have a confesion: I have joined the Orange group. You see, I finally have to admit that I have never liked bananas, I eat them because they are good for me but a fruit that has no juice? It has to highjack some milk to produce something similar. That is cheating! Bananas pose like fruits but they are really potatoes. The hypocrites!
Also I cannot cope with so many groups, so I am trimming mine and besides my banana inspiration has waned. May be it will wax again, they do wax bananas, don't they?
Dean, thank you for the really great art you sent. It took me too long to acknowledge it, I'm sorry. A reply is in the mail to you today. Be well! :) :)
I received your Bananalicious-mail today. Thank you! I really enjoy the American-ness of the product, even though it looks like it is an international product.
Dean!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for the wonderful cultful mail art! Was so great to see that signature Dean style that lets you know in a glance who it is from. Hope your run was awesome, wish I'd kept better track and called you. more mail artists should use whatsapp for intl calls!! xoxoxoxo
Mail receive, my dear. Appreciated as always. I'm so remiss in not blogging my received mail but I do, eventually, send mail in return. Oh what can I say, life gets in the way. But I keep making Mail Art and I love that you do, too.
