Thanks for being a friend. Yes, let's exchange gelli-prints. Your Gelliland stamps are special. I've just started to explore this technique and so am learning the basics at this point. I'm hoping that my previous monotype experience will be beneficial and shorten the learning curve.

Jan--glad that you enjoyed the 'blues'. I really had fun exploring both the Gelli-plate possibilities and the color blue. Due to injury I'm no longer able to use a regular etching press so the Gelli-plate experiments have revived my creative spirit.

?? is that a print of yours on the background of your iuoma page? Wonderful colors (again).

Jan--thanks for the comments re: gelli-print ghost. This was a serendipitous print and I added additional color manually. Registration would have been needed  for this detailed a stencil. I usually don't set up registration for Gelli-prints to enable a plate 'run' for added color.  It was printed on buff colored cardstock.

PS: it has been fun to discuss techniques on this group and see others works.

It would be nice to exchange some orange art with you :)

Hi Jan, thanks for your nice note and friendship request. Having just joined, I'm not sure of all the rules yet. For a one-on-one swap, do we decide on a deadline, substrate, things like that? I had not heard of asemic writing before and when I read about it, I was fascinated, as I love that kind of thing. This would be my first time making asemic writing art, however. Are you sure you want to swap with a beginner? :-)
