On my birthday two weeks ago I asked God to help me find a place to enjoy and talk about art. My prayers and meditation group I visit now helped me find this union. I don't have or use tech cameras so I am not sure how I could do this maybe with simple drawings on postcards? One
ne of the finest human beings I have ever met is a member of this union and I would love to get into this someway. It syeems like a universal exchange of authentic ideas and art getting peacefully from one place to another via talent, love, healing, passion, and just the divine act of giving which is always beautiful....am I right?
Hello Maude, I'm the mentor for January and can help you with questions not answered in New to IUOMA or the group Ask Anything. Lots of info there. You can draw or make collage (which is what I do) or watercolor (which I also do) or anything you can think of. Some people send objects, even. Have fun, send out mail.
Hello Maude, send out a note to members by going to your IN BOX (in the right column on your page) then click on compose. After you write your note, you can invite members of IUOMA to send to you. Oh, maybe you already did that.

Illustration, address and stamp on the same page. Deadline for hanging: May 10, 2014. Send a work in mail format as original as possible. Send to: JC SARPI - LE LAB 3 rue Bussy l'indien 13006 Marseille France .We will answer each mail by sending Mail Art. Looking forward to presenting your works. Thank you for giving the information to all the persons who may participate to the project. Look at http://lelab13006.blogspot.fr
Earthling, this is the last but certainly not the least welcome message to IUOMA you receive. I’m a celestial mail artist living in a heavenly corner of the faraway universe called Republik van Patland. When you joined IUOMA on january 21 I was unable to welcome you on board. At the time I was in a Celestial Journey far beyond the Milky Way. Now, back to planet Earth, I´d love to be the other end if you wish to trade mail art with a celestial mail artist. If this is the case at the time your envelope should read as follows:
The Celestial Scribe
Terrene Embassy
Republik van Patland

I look forward to see a piece of yours in our terrene mailbox. I will do my homework after receiving your artwork. This is nothing less than a Celestial Promise. I’m Patricio, Celestial Scribe & Republik van Patland Official Envelope Provider.
I'm new to this domain, just learning the ropes -- I don't mean to miss your messaging, Maude, as you write: "As I move around this place admiring the art that little hippo is just dear. Just the cutest little hippo gentle reminder of simple sweet things."
Such as lovely welcome! Thank you.
It's this little (BIG) hippo I believe you are referring: http://tinyurl.com/little-BIG-hippo ... and yes, a gentle reminder of simple sweet things.
I like to share , to exchange Postal Art , as soon as I receive yours , I w'll be happy to send you mine ! ......... look here on comment my address ...

Maude, you say Matisse. Matisse. Matisse.
I say Miro. Miro. Miro.
Let's call the whole thing off.
You say either and I say either,
You say neither and I say neither
Either, either Neither, neither
Let's call the whole thing off.
You like potato and I like potahto
You like tomato and I like tomahto
Potato, potahto, Tomato, tomahto.
Let's call the whole thing off...
